2008 Norco Six 1 Hits The UK Trails

Published on December 29, 2007

I received a phone call on the Friday before Christmas from James (ATB Sales), asking if I could meet him at the Tiverton services in an hour, for collection of my new steed. Believe me, it was the quickest I’ve driven down to Devon in a long time!

On arriving back home with my bike in a box, it was straight to the garage for a build session. I opened the box and the gleaming white frame beamed at me in a ‘hurry up and build me’ kinda fashion. Unfortunately I been struck down by toxic man flu, and havent been able to do much with the beauty yet, although I did get out in the early flu stages and get a few pics. I’ll go through all the spec and initial feel once I’ve had a proper chance to ride the bike.

Looking good! Love the graphics on the frame and the Dakine decal too. Definately one of the better looking ‘curvy tubed’ frames out there.

Gorgeous bike, thinking of a Six One or Six Two… probably medium size but it’s difficult to tell. Tested a Six Two medium and felt ok but quite long… what size is this one and when are you likely to review it? Enjoy the bike!
