New team members: Sasha Brooks and Charlie Ross
Published on January 10, 2008
We’ve had a busy start to 2008, organising product tests, product testers and members for Team Huckmonkey. Its all starting to pay off, and we’ve got lots lined up for later in the year. We’ll be adding team members as we get the details, but joining Cliff and myself are Sasha Brooks and Charlie Ross.
Sasha’s well on her way to being a fully CyTech qualified bike mechanic, and will be providing us with plenty of tech tips to keep you running smoothly out on the trails. She’s also a keen rider and will be our tester for womens kit, providing us with product news and reviews.
The first time I met Charlie was in 2004, when he turned up to a northshore demo we were doing decked out in Fox race gear and a tiny little bike. He impressed the spectators by ripping round the little northshore course. Since then he’s gone from strength to strength.
He started racing downhill, and in his short career he’s collected a collection of silverware which would put some pro’s to shame! Along with his proven downhill speed, he’s also got bags of flair and isn’t afraid of the big stunts. He’s the youngest rider ever to do the road gap at Combe Sydenham in Somerset, and ‘The Biscuit’ step down at Tavistock Woodlands in Devon.
We’ll be following Charlies progress in 2008, and supporting him however we can. He’s going to be our resident junior tester, checking out the latest grom bikes and kit.

Cliff, you have no idea how much restraint it took for me not to write about the time you and Charlie both raced at Churchill. No idea!
I dont mind mate I’ve never claimed to be into DH in anyway, shape or form, and Charlie is like a little whippet! Even so I still beat him by half a second. Lol
ANYONE OUT THERE FANCY SPONSORING LITTLE CHARLIE THEN DROP A MAIL TO jamie@huckmonkey.com AND WE WILL SEND YOU OUT CHARLIE’S PROFILE AND RACE RESULTS.
