TT Freeriders present the Bedrock Invitational

To celebrate the South West gaining another top riding spot, TT Freeriders are organising the Bedrock Invitational. The events set to take place 19th-20th July at their newly aquired spot near Bideford.
The group recently acquired the spot, which was previously used by mountain boarders, after the existing setup folded. They’ve had a massive battle on their hands getting the site tidy and safe, and are in the process of making it more suitable for mountain bikes. TT Freeriders formed in 2007, when a bunch of like minded riders and trail builders came together, and they’ve been working hard to find themselves a place to build for some time.
At the moment the sites got a 4X track and a freestyle area with kickers, table-tops and quarter pipes, but the group are looking to expand the facilities, and are hoping to build a slope-style course.
The Bedrock Invitational is an open event, but if you want to attend make sure you let the organisers know so they can taylor the facilities to the number of people expected. The event costs £10 which covers your camping for the weekend. There’s going to be food and a beer tent on site, as well as a range of demo bikes. Just to update… Things are looking good for Bedrock. We’ve got quite a lot done in the past few weeks, with lots of tweaking and grooming of the 4X, its rolling seriously fast now, with more jumps, and smoother berms. The freestyle / jump area is currently undergoing some serious improvement, and we should have twice as many usable lines by the event.
We’ve got some Awesome DJ’s in the pipeline, the Beer has been sorted with some great local brews on tap, and we’ve got one of our local bike shops helping out with some Demo bikes,’mech-support’ and some really decent Prizes!!!
Its going to be lots of fun, but please let us know how many of you are coming so we can make sure we don’t run out of Beer and other essentials.

Which means much less hiking up the hill, and more energy into riding. Nice.
