If you can remember all the fun had at the Jam’s held at the AC Bike Park in Churchill nr Bristol then get ready for it to happen all over again. The team has got back together again to bring you The MBUK/Huckmonkey.com’s Summer ride Festival on the 25th and 26th of July 2009.

We have moved location from Churchill to Bideford in North Devon to the home of the TT Freeride Crew’s South West Extreme Bike Park.

Over the weekend we will be hosting an Amateur Dirt Jump comp (supported by 24/7 bikes),  Amateur 4x Knockout racing, an Amateur Slopestyle comp and Also the DMR/Huckmonkey.com Pro Dirt Jump Comp.

The bike park will open at 9-30am on the on  Saturday 25th July 2009.

Saturday 25th

The Gates to the park will open at 8-30am for campers.
9-30am      Bike Park opens, signing in for events (there will be a pre comp booking line).
9-30am      Dirt Jump comp practice. The Dirt jumps will be closed off for riders to practice.
11-30am    Dirt Jump comp 1st round (50 riders down to 10)
12-00pm    Food tent opens.
12-30         Slopestyle closed for Practice.
2-30pm      Amateur Slopestyle comp Round 1 (50 riders down to 10)
6pm          Bar opens Licensed bar selling local ales as well as the usual’s.
6-30pm      Park closes and Pro Dirt Jump comp starts. (maybe earlier depending on amount of riders).
6pm          Mbuk’s Doddy on the decks plus bar games and the usual jam goings on.
1am        Site Closes and everyone to be in camping field.

Sunday 26th

8am          Food tent opens for breakfast.
9-30am     Park opens.
10-30am   Amateur Slopestyle final.
12 -30pm       Amateur Dirt Jump comp Finals
2-30pm        Amateur 4x Knockout Racing.
5- 45pm        The whole site closes.
6pm        Total clearance

Some of the UK’s top riders will be attending the festival to throw down their latest tricks and moves as well as The Mountain Biking UK crew, The Huckmonkey.com crew, 24/7 bikes crew, Ram bikes crew, Dmr bikes crew and loads of other industry top bods.
The prize bags are big and their will be plenty of free stuff thrown out to the Comp crowds.

Ride your bike, watch the top pro’s, jump for free stuff, grab an autograph, get drunk and listen to Doddy from Mbuk spinning some tunes then do it all again the next day.

£25 will get you entry to the festival,camping and Saturday night party.
Sunday entry will be £15 for the day.
Daily spectators £5 per person
There will be a £10 fee for all comp entry’s on top of Festival entry.

Under 16s will need an adult of 20years or older to accompany them for the duration of their stay (4x under 16s to one adult max). 24″ and 26″ wheeled bikes only. Anyone found to be breaking these rules will be instantly removed from site by security.

Comp entry’s will be on a first come first ride basis due to only 50 spaces per comp.To try and avoid disappointment on the day book your comp places before hand on the info line.

    People who are thought to be under 16 will require some form of photo ID as proof of age to confirm they are over 16

    Just a quick one guys. ALL RIDERS MUST BE 13 YEARS OLD OR ABOVE TO RIDE THE PARK. ANY RIDERS 13 to 14 YEARS OLD ARE ADVISED TO BRING SOME KIND OF IDENTIFICATION ESPECIALLY IF YOU LOOK YOUNG.
    sorry to you younger guys but our insurance will only allow riders 13 and over. Any one thought to be trying to get younger riders entrance will be banned from the event , the bike park and all future Huckmonkey or TT Freeride events.
